Okay. Let's all get this out of the way-- *bursts into uncontrollable tears, sobbing heart out while soul withers slowly*
--- MULTIPLE EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWNS LATER ---
Ahhh.... Still don't feel better. Anyway, this episode was filled with feels for Sherlockians everywhere, and it has also sparked many questions. How the HECK did he survive? I'm so happy he did... So so happy. Part of my emotional breakdowns were happy tears, because after the graveyard scene, when Sherlock was suddenly THERE... I'm so glad no one was around to see me XD
The sole question sparked, as you all have probably seen and explored, tons and tons of fan theories. I've seen deep theories, simple theories, theories that made absolutely no sense at all. Maybe some of you have found some you want to share or discuss, or made theories of your own? I have one I've been brewing- Futuristic cloning devices. Simple- Sherlock, mid-fall, whipped out a futuristic cloning device from his pocket when John couldn't see, and cloned himself. He grabbed onto a window ledge and climbed to safety while his clone tragically hit the ground and died. I wouldn't want any version of him to die, but at least it wasn't the original beautiful, brilliant mind, right?
Yeah, that was a sad joke. But I have found one I liked, and I'm sure there have been theories similar, but this one makes a lot of sense. To me, anyway. It can be found here, if anyone is interested in reading it. If you have any others, please share them! I like talking to people about things that make everyone upset
Also, on a similar matter: Any theories on what the detail we all supposedly missed was? There's the bouncy ball that was pointed out in the link above, of course, but I haven't found much else so far. What do you think? Have any of you noticed anything else?
(UPDATE: So I've watched more... And I don't believe the ball theory anymore... I don't know what to believe, to be honest XD)
